The Yardbirds inspired Heavy Metal and Psychedelia. Jeff forgot to mention The Yardbirds inspired American 60's Fuzz Punk Garage Band Music. He also said "JUST LIKE ELVIS,THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE THE YARDBIRDS". I read in Jeff's Bio,"Crazy Fingers", that Jimi Hendrix borrowed a riff from "Happenings 10 Years Time Ago" for "Stone Free". Anybody know the riff?

  • @rayslist1961 Me too!

  • Does anyone have this in Colour?

Does anyone have Ten Years Time Ago - Studio version?

    Cheers

  • Heard this whenI was in my teens and now im 50, it sounds just as good to day as it did

    back then!

  • that guitar riff on over under is so original and unique. I love it!

  • @kramrollin69 Yeah, it probably is Jim McCarty on the Drums. But it is DEFINITELY Jimmy Page on Rhythm guitar on the second song "Happenings...". Paul Samwell-Smith left the band just after the album was recorded, therefore Jimmy appeared as the new guitarist on TV etc....Apparently John Paul Jones played the Bass on the "Happening..." song in the studio....bit of trivia for ya..:).

  • @kramrollin69 There is a resemblance. Actually it's Jim McCarty.

  • @alonenjersey Actually in the second song, it IS Jimmy Page playing the second guitar. And looks a lot like Jon Bonham playing the drums (could be wrong tho).

  • @alonenjersey Luckily PSS quit, or we probably wouldn't even know who Jimmy Page is nowadays.

  • White suit .........baseball boots....Jeff Beck

  • GREAT BAND. ONE OF THE BEST OF THAT OR ANY OTHER ERA. BLEW THE BEATLES AWAY AT THEIR XMAS SHOW IN 1964 AS TOLD BY ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ANIMALS WHO PARTICIPATED AT THE SHOW. THEY WERE THE FORERUNNERS TO GROUPS LIKE THE CREAM AND LED ZEPPELIN. GREAT MUSIC BACK THEN. WHERE HAS THE MUSIC GONE?
