Panasonic TZ7 : A Night Test

I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 a week ago. This is a first test of the camera. and filmed at "Osu Market", Nagoya City in Japan, which is about 300km west of Tokyo. Thanks for watching the video.

Strafing effect looks extremely irritating for the eyes.
Still consumer electronics can't provide decent HD quality.

Hows the focus in the hd video mode?
on the previous model, the focus would loose very easily, so just had to move very very slowly

こんちは～ カジさん。見てくれてありがとう。
ビデオ撮影は初めてで手ぶれはあるしパンすれば画面は揺れるし夜の撮影は難しいですね。でもパナソニックのＴＺ７、動画には楽しいデジカメです。
髪カットの勉強頑張って下さい。

I don't know much about the previous model. but there is a firmware Ver 1.2 for DMC-TZ4 TZ5 to improved auto focus performance. so just check the version number of your camera. if the version number is older, you should try to update.
Search with google with this key words:
"dmc-tz4/tz5 firmware update service"
On my TZ7 the auto focus is a bit slow specially at night time, but as you can see it is not very bad. I didn't use any tripod stand. so a lot of camera shaking lol.
