@Howie262 The engine is made by Subaru. The WRX had the 2.0L turbo engine from 02-05 before it bumped up to the 2.5L.

Because i didnt know Subaru made a 2.0 liter turbo. i thought it was only 2.5s...

Actually, this is a Subaru engine. The 9-2x Aero is literally a WRX with softer suspension, different body panels, more sound deadening, a slightly tweaked interior, and a few extra luxury amenities.

actualy when you think about this car most wont like it........

but in actualy when you take a deeper look at it its a pretty good buy, its a hybrid betwween a saab and subaru.

engine is saab and look is saab, but the chaisy and all-wheel drive is subarruu.

Thats a good combo if oyu ask me...

saabs make extremely boosty, realiable, smoothe, fun engines. So add that to a solid subaru body, and that shit is pro.

Let's set the weight straight. It is heavier than the WRX. Not by much, but it is heavier. Saab did recaluburate the suspension. Some of the suspension parts were lifted off STI. They improved on the engine mounts,resulting in better isolation. But yes, basically it is a WRX with Saab face lift.

I wish GM would mix and match stuff on a regular basis between their brands, makes no sense to not share the best ideas from each area of THE SAME company. The company might actually survive if they did crazy like that.

the sound deadedning doesnt wiegh much.  its actually lighter and more power and more luxury. optional leather racing seats and leather wrapped racing wheel.

It's actually heavier because of the extra sound deadening material. It is more luxurious and better looking though.
