I was unhappy with the hex-bar linkage on my 914's dual carb setup, so I made a cable actuated setup.

Order a similar setup from Tangerine Racing here: http://www.tangerineracing.com/engine.htm#CableThrottleLinkageforDualCarbs

  • very nice...much better than hex bar!

  • Indeed. I spent about 3 or 4 hours mocking up and scratching my head over the hex bar... finally I said "screw it"!

  • Who else is selling these?

  • Fantastic, have you thought about making these for sale, I would definitely buy one.

  • Cool setup! I like this idea a lot. What are you using for cables?

From my MTB racing experience I suspect you'll get some cable stretch to begin with, but that should be easily adjusted and the passenger side cable should stretch at about the same rate as the master/driver side.

  • Where is this system for sale and what carbs work with it .

    somebody ?

  • excellent! i am loving your videos. thanks for sharing them. The engine build has helped a lot for me.
