i wonder what gave birth to such an interest in your country...
do you people read surtas and our philosophical texts such as "tarkasamgraha", "samkhyatattvakaumadi", "vedantassara" as well?

my comment starts with "Yes..." and goes to "IMO" ... Not that this is of great importance to the masses, lol!

IMO,to solely focus on perfect technique is to disconnect from god--mistaking Mantra for song isn't disconnecting from God, it's just not being used for its original purpose. Mantra is constant AND changing. It is both. Maybe it serves her this way and i will not argue with the emanation of joy from the heart of man :)

Yes, correct mantra lies in the sound itself. It's also true that you infuse the contents of your heart thru breath to create living sound from symbol. We are clear channels or rusty pipes. Be it water or tea,the channel through which it flows greatly affects whatever it touches.

@dkaval5 I do agree but i believe that you should be a bit more considerate about the intentions of the singers as accent does sometime play against people. Best wishes to the beautiful singers of this powerful mantra.
however i do appriciate the attempt that you people are upto
btw which country is it?

horrible pronunciation
and no one recites mantras in this manner

@buchaipl yes, we know. it's the spirit of the song at this point, rather than the technical pronunciation.
it was from an english Kirtan held by Gina Salá, almost all english speakers. we try. we fail. we don't care, it's still fun and still lifts the spirits.
:)
I guess our group of people, what was it, 50 people in the room, are "no one" to you. thank you for dissing us with compassion ;)

The pronunciation and diction is completely off. The healing vibrations of the original mantra is not to be found in this rendition. Please listen to a sanskrit scholar's diction before attempting to do your own versionof the Mrityunjaya Mantra.

re: the pronunciation of "Trayambaka Mantra"
thanks for being so correct. you should take this up with Gina Salá, i'm sure she'd like to hear about it, since it's her arrangement and rendition, not mine, i just recorded it and put it up. her URL is at the end of the video
