Wells Fargo behind for-profit prisons

In America one out of every 100 citizens is behind bars and most of them are minorities. The United States has 5 percent of the world's population but holds one-quarter of the world's prisoners. The prison industrial complex has a vested interest in keeping people locked up. Wells Fargo is one of the companies that is profiting for the practice and pushing for legislation that will maximize their profits. Russ Baker, editor-in-chief for WhoWhatWhy.com, joins us with his take on Wells Fargo's role in the prison industrial complex.

There is an easy way to shut these evil banks down guys. Dont use them. I haven used or had a bank account in 2 years. I pay with cash only and if a business refuses to take cash then I dont buy from them. If for some reason a company says I owe them money and they will only take a check or money order I tell them good luck having that hold up in court when I was willing to pay you with something that says "this note is legal tender for all debts public and private."

Growing prisons, missery at the exspence of the people. Let all the drug, child support violaters, 2nd time same couple domestic violence, and traffic violaters out. Make prison a bad place to be again not a detox. Offer Nike ect. tax breaks to bring work here to employee the child support violaters and prisoners. They (prisoners want to work). Then they can pay thier stay, restitution, have money for when they get out and give them a few bucks a week so they dont have to beg mom and dad.
