I like grocery shopping at least ten times more than clothes shopping. This market was located on the outskirts of Beijing, adjacent to the stadium where we watched the gold medal women's volleyball match. I brought back some sausage to make my own Yang Chow fried rice at home.

  • Thanks for the information. I love learning new things! As the camera panned past I assumed it was Sake since I had enjoyed some in China. Now I am sorry that I didn't know that when I was there. I love sake and it would have been fun to have a taste comparison!

  • i know these stores. Wu-mei right?

  • those are not Sake.... Sake (Japanese) is made of rice, those Chinese liquors are made of Sorghum.... they taste stronger and usually something like 38% or 56% alcohol...
