    as one girl said (kind of rudely)... there's no real basis to go by. rabid animals can bite and then run off.. so now the one they bit is infected, and they got away to bite others

    most zombie movies/shows have a little of both... some will just bite and run off, others will stay there. basically if the person they bit is fatally wounded and cant run, then they stay.. otherwise the person pushes the zombie off and runs away (or kills it)

    The final 30 minutes of the series sums up the whole thing. It's not about zombies - they're just the vehicle. This is a social commentary on the whole voyeurism that is rampant with these "reality" shows:

    Zombies. Watching zombies.
