Chris Matthews calls RNC's trivial and hypocritical self-promotional email criticism of President Obama on a date with his wife to New York, "Piss Ant" and "Nin-come-poop" anti-intellectualism. Republicans cannot open their mouth these days without demonstrating their own hypocrisy to the nth degree.

  • So much hypocrisy!!!

Where were you when GW was flying to his ranch on vacation...you people make me sick...JEALOUSY!!!

Talking about spending money...GW started a war and sank this country's economy...so just STFU and go away you peace of shit

  • If Obama would have hopped in the family car with his wife and no security and took her to White Castle the right wing haters would have still attack him for putting on airs or some such thing. Look, he's the President of the United States. He needs security. The planes and helicopters are at his disposal. He deserves to take his wife out. He's not stealing food out of anyones mouth and he isn't taking 900 days vacation in Crawford. Cut him some slack.

  • BECAUSE, MR OBAMA IS OUR PRESIDENT!!

The same kind of coverage was given to reagan, bush (41), Mr Clinton, and most recently, bush (43). Did you whimper at that?

    Grow up!!

  • Why does everyone have to see and hear 24/7 about the Obamas?

  • Ole Spittin" Mathews is at it again. I would hate it if I were Obama and I had to listen to Mathews and Olberman slobber all over me every night. I don't have any real ills with Obama, but MSNBC is really knee deep in slobber over him!! Enough-- for the President's sake!! I'm sure he is about to PUKE!!!

  • 487 days. That's how much time bush spent at Camp David. And Camp David is not even where the president has spent the most time when not at the White House: Knoller reports that Mr. Bush has made 77 visits to his ranch in Crawford during his presidency, and spent all or part of 490 days there. These alone accumlate 997 days at a minimum spent on vacation, which comes out to be exactly a third of his time in office.

  • 3. The childish retort "Dick Cheney was worse!" doesn't justify Obama's egocentric behaviour.
