  • In the UK its about a grand a day.

  • Im 17 and hoping to join the royal navy as a mine clearence diver when i leave college. i heard on the video that many saturation divers come from the navy. so i was just wondering is join the navy for few years an ideal way to become a saturation diver? i would really appreciate any feedback. DM.

  • @VAIDER07. My advise to you is to concentrate on becoming a diver first. There are NO sat divers even in their early twenties. Simply because you need experience as an underwater worker before you get into sat. I loved my time as a CD in the navy and if you leave after a few years, you will be highly trained and highly thought of in civilian st. Cheers and good luck, Tony.

  • really good vid im a commercial diver hoping to get into sat in the next couple of years

If you do Steve, you change your tag to SatRatSteve! Good luck with that. TG

  • Been There, Done That! 1970 -1981. Ocean Systems, Comex, 3x, Seaway Diving. Happy Days!

Wasn't as sophisticated then and we were like guinea pigs. We did Neon trials as Helium was expensive.

  • Two really good videos that remind me a lot of memories.
