It's simple.

Vette kills Mustang, yet again.  Even though the Mustang had really good mods (heads, cam), it's still not going to touch a C5 Corvette. This video proves it.

@Trey4Fun I can hang with my bud's modded 6 speed LS1 Trans Am with a h/c/i Mustang. He has intake, headers, race exhaust and tune. I sprayed the 100 shot on him and murdered him. A stock C5 aint that fast. I have a video (if you click on my username) of me racing a modded 6 speed C5 at the dragstrip and his light comes on only a split second before mine at the end, and we left at the same time. I didn't have bottle at that time so it was all motor. Have a look.

@cheezieb540 i don't know why you are jumping on my back, all i said was the stang would have done better at the track? while your running off at the mouth you maybe suprised to find out that foxbody mustangs are auctually lighter than most vettes. Motor trend september 1992 vol. 44 no.9 the foxbody lx 5.0 mustang weighed in at 2834 pounds. The foxbody has a bad suspenion, the sold axel is bad on rough pavement thats why i said it would do better at the track where the surface is smooth.

@redd7188 dude mustangs are not in the same class as corvettes. Camaros yeah, but not vettes. Look at the price difference, weight, aerodynamics, acceleration, etc. and why in the hell someone would want to dump cash into a 'brick in the wind' is beyond me.

5.o would more than likely get the vette at the strip but not on the highway, because i am sure this 5.0 has a 3.73 gear or higher which hurts mid range and top end
