Glad Cafe Album Launch

Sam McIntosh recently completed his Audio Engineering degree at SAE Glasgow and, as part of his dissertation project, Sam recored and released a compilation album which he subsequently marketed through a series of promotional events. The album "The Glad Cafe", released through Sam's own label "45 A-Side Records", featured many Scottish bands including Dam Mantle, Barn Owl and Conquering Animal Sounds.

This video was filmed by SAE Glasgow at the album launch party held at 'Stereo' in Glasgow City Centre on Thursday 30th September, 2010. The night was a huge success with bands featured on the album performing, as well as a guest appearance by American singer/song writer Willy Mason. The profits from the evening, and from the sale of the album itself, are helping to fund the opening of a live music venue in the South Side of Glasgow with which Sam will be heavily involved.
