o Problem directors Andrew Georgopoulos and Paul Trillo have teamed up with bay area hip hop legends, Hieroglyphics, to create a music video for the Marvel vs Capcom 2 Mixtape. Battle Drum is Hieroglyphics adrenaline pumped addition to the video game soundtrack.
Andrew and Pauls vision for the music video was to capture the dark and gritty feel of the song as well as pay tribute to its video game inspiration. Hieroglyphics members Tajai, Casual and Pep Love are each displayed in their own unique style as they face off against various fighters during an underground fight night. The video travels through five locations with cinematographer KC Smith shedding his own light on to the scene. Video game graphics are injected throughout the video, creating a vibrant contrast to the dark tone. Andrew and Paul sought to achieve a fresh new look through every level of production.
This is No Problems third entry into the music video world, with many more to come. Battle Drum coincides with the re-release of Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the X Box 360 and PS3.
