5 - Proofs of Existence of God - Fundamentals of Faith - Yasir Qadhi

In this 5th episode of Fundamentals of Faith, Shaikh Abu Ammar Yassir Qadhi presents some of the proofs of the existence of God. This continues from the previous episodes about our Imaan/Faith/Belief (Tawheed) in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and the knowledge that brings life to our heart. A must see lecture for all.

We Read in the Qur'an:

"If you asked them, 'Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' they would surely say, 'Allah.' Then how are they deluded?

Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.

And if you asked them, 'Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?' they would surely say 'Allah.' Say, 'Praise to Allah'; but most of them do not reason."

[Surah Al-Ankabut, Ayat 61-63]


"Their messengers said, 'Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term.' They said, 'You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority.'

Their messengers said to them, 'We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.'"

[Surah Ibraheem, Ayat 10-11]


"Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.

Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]?

Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority."

[Surah At-Tur, Ayat 35-38]


"He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind.

This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error."

[Surah Luqman, Ayat 10-11]

This programme talks about Tawheed, the unshakeable belief in one God, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Islam is based on the belief of the one true God. All Prophets, Peace be upon them all, were sent with the Message of the Oneness of Allah Azza Wa Jall.

for someone who claims to be logical, u sure arent showing it. islam in its core simply means to submit to God and His guidance, and in this respect, Adam and Eve were Muslims.

I gave you a list of 30 scientific facts in The Quran! You say there is no god!

Then how did Muhammad know these?

Islam is believing in One God and submitting your will to God!

Adam to Abraham to Moses to Jesus to Muhammad are all Muslims

Hmm, I think, I´ve already done it.

I´ll try to simplify it for you.

* Heaven is one of the Unseen.

* From an islamic perspective, it is a creature. Just like you & me.

* Creation is some of the unique attributes of God.

If you were to believe in a God, who created everything you see, it isn´t difficult to attribute him the creation of anything you do not see.

Your question presupposes that one aknowledges the obvious existence of God (what you seem to regret).

You make a grave failure if you were to pretend that Islam automatically promises heaven for Muslims.
