Dude that island you said was the most southern point in canada just so happens to be kellys island and it is part of Ohio which is in the states. so your wrong. sorry to say.

Thank-you for your clarification. One amongst my party told me that was a Canadian Island. It must have been another that they had in mind.

Middle Island is the island probably that they were looking for; which is the most southerly piece of land in Canada.

I have a photo of it (1987) and it can be seen from the most southerly point of Pelee Island.

North Bass; Middle Bass and South Bass Islands (isn't that where the Perry monument is?), are easily seen from Pelee Island.

Not a problem. the Canadian island is much smaller than the one you were looking at. you can see it clearly from the west side of the island.
