This protest took place in Toronto Canada to bring forward the issue of Genocide that the Sri Lankan government is exerting on Tamils. The Western media has been banned from discussing this issue with the outside world and therefore not many people know about the problems concerning tamils in Sri Lanka. Aid organisations have all been banned from entering tamil territory to help injured tamils.
Similar protests took place all around the world with tens and thousands of People gathering to show their support.
