Robots (designed by Jacque Fresco) do all the brainless work and humans do all the exploring. A world with no leaders, only coordinators of a better life for all species. Warfare replaced by human care. A world that gives you all the time in the world (no job you hate). Resources Harvested intelligently and robotically. Let only the ideas lead us and not the people that had them. The Zeitgeist Movement

A suggestion: Time will come when electricity and gas will not be available. I learned from an old timer that you can put beans in the oven and toast them carefully. If they are toasted; they are cooked. Then you just crush them and add water to hydrate them. I've not tested it but was told that cowboys used to do just that for travel purpose. and also carried dried beef jerky...another good thing that can be stored. God bless us all and only He can protect us. you friend, arlenice

THE BEST THING TO DO IS KEEP ITSIMPLE. OR YOU WILL GO CRAZY . SO I STOCK UP ON DRIED BEANS , 20LBS BAGS AND WHOLE GRAIN RICE. YEAH YOU NEED WATER. . I HAVE A MAX 100 GAL FILTER WATER IN A SMALL APPT. THAT THE BEST I CAN DO OH AND A GUN WITH PLENTY OF BULLETS.TO KEEP THE SCUM BAGS FROM ROBBING YOU. IN THOSE TUFF DAYS AHEAD.

Good to meet you, Mike.
I've been focusing on can goods and dried beans.
Besides, I live in Alaska and I plan on using my Mossberg 500 to hunt for food. Plus, there's water everywhere.
