Nick Stiles won a combo fighting tournament this weekend at the ISGA Florida State Championships - 1 round kickboxing, 1 round submission grappling. Here is his first match, where he wins both rounds with clean accurate striking and multiple submissions (armbar, modified rear naked choke, modified anaconda, and a really slick triangle). In this tournament submissions only counted for points and the match continues. Nick is a BJJ student at Daniel Moraes Jiu-Jitsu in Jacksonville, and boxes with the Police Athletic League and boxing trainer pro-boxer Prince. Nick is proud to be sponsored by On The Mat - www.onthemat.com

Good to see Nick use his boxing skills against a strong, aggressive opponent in round 1. He was clearly the better grappler, though he did not have it all his own way on the ground. Excellent all-round fighting competition for kids, and good to see technique defeat raw strength and aggression
