salamo alaikom alia i just wondered in morocco we bought some macaroons just like these that you've made but they were made with walnuts not almonds and they were covered in powdered sugar my husband loves these and i would like to try and make them is there any difference to the ingredients for these or do i just switch the almonds for walnuts and would i have to add less sugar in them because they're coated in sugar or does it not matter jazaakalllah

Great Recipe Alliah. I made it once and was very delicious. I tend to make them too thin, however, and end up being a bit harder. Yours seem to be the right texture. Keep up the great work Alliah.

Alia is that sugar the same as confectioner's sugar? It doesn't look like the granulated one that I regularly use. I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

I love Alia, she got a great Spirit. I love people who like to share. How wonderful to see a sister cooking, it reminds me of home. You brought joy to my Spirit. Welcome to the church of the holy Alia, Almond pray ;-)

When does the next boat leave for Morocco?
You have made me salivate just thinking about all of
the succulent foods that exist in that distant and
mysterious land.
