*shrugs shoulders*...it's been over 20 years since I've seen it.

Spramped,

Wondering if you have any of the earlier opening credit sequences for "The Ann Southern Show" which have song lyrics and really great animation. I remember it from 20 years ago on Nick at Nite. It was really fantastic animation--way ahead of it's time!

One 3 part series of the show has been posted on Youtube but is not available for viewing (been removed). Thanks!

Alas that Ann put on a great deal of weight in her later years, in contrast to her '30s and '40s svelteness.

And that's the reason she only voiced over "My Mother The Car", instead of actually showing herself in person on there because of her hepititus(or weight) problem, and Ms. Sothern prefered NOT to be seen.

That's right, 'fromthesidelines'. I meant to put the episode title and the air date that it came out, but thank you anyways for pointing that out!

This is from a third season episode ("Hasta Luego", first telecast on November 17, 1960), when the vocals for the show's theme {"Katy"} had been eliminated from the opening and closing titles in favor of an instrumental version, 'vzeu'. This print is from a '70s reissue, long before "Metromedia" was acquired by News Corp. in 1986.
