DOOM - E1M8 - Sign Of Evil (Redux)

The first of what is now many tracks that I've gotten my claws into.

To me this song is as iconic to Doom as any other track, *including* 'At Doom's Gate', and I felt I had to do something with it.

It's purely an updated version of a classic tune; none of that extra rhythm bullshit, or trance/disco/DnB edition shite either. Just raw Doom at it's finest.

Nope, it's definitely not the Cyberdemon - the head shape is all wrong for a start. It's an early version of what became the IOS in DOOM II.

I wouldn't take everything the Wiki says at face value; I've read some incredibly stupid things on there that several users have then tried to pass off as fact without first doing their own research.

I agree, it is really sad. I think Romero used this song in E4M1 to tell us how Doomguy is feeling during his mourning of the tragic death of his poor pet rabbit; Daisy.
