@tRAVISK24 As someone said before these types of videos should be shown at school at some point. Let's face it 3/5 people's first instinct is to trench it in water.
@djburgerjoint was doing the exact same thing 2 hours ago, was heating up the oil for the chops, had the lid on, was smoking like crazy, i removed the lid (dumb ideal!) BAM big ass fire ball..... panic set in... didnt even think i set it in the sink and turned the water on (really really bad idea) , then bam MASSIVE fireball. Luckly i didnt burn my face off or burn the apt down. Always hurd just put a lid on it itll go out. My first grease fire, nothing damaged except my pride.
So in december of last year(2011)I had a grease fire in my kitchen because my grandma was cooking french fries and she wasnt paying attention so it caught and after she burned her finger and she said she would never make french fries ever again and that night we had to call servpro and that week they cleaned it
i was frying porkchoppys today and some grease spilled on da burner. well a small flame occured and it scared the poop out of my pants. sooo i fill a big cup of water incase it happens again. BAD IDEA. (DO NOT USE WATER) I almost died
@bauerman14 Well, I have tried that before, if you would like, you could go on my channel and look at my powder fire extinguisher video I made a while ago, it was a BC fire extinguisher used on an A fire, when Ii first sprayed it, it re-ignited, so you can see that I had to douse it again with the extingsuiher. It does make the fire go down, but it 80% will re-ignite. But it will most likely work if you use up most or all of the canister on the fire. So hope that helps!!
