And for the record this wasn't even done in CA. This was in Phoenix AZ where at my uncles house after a shooting/family trip.

@ivebeenrocked As I said, I love you too.

@ivebeenrocked Thanks, I love you too. What I assumed made it illegal was the ability to turn it into a regular mag release.

@Totallydistortedfilm Guess I'm going to jail cause I'm getting that TODAY!

Dude this is the greatest thing ever to get around CA laws. fuck yeah.

Thats gotta be illegal. Even if it isn't, the cops would still throw you in jail regardless.

@Totallydistortedfilm No its not. Learn your laws. Everything on this AR is fully CA compliant.

Is it aluminum or steel? If aluminum, is it made in steel?

@cliffcox66
Pulled this from their site. "made from 6061 aircraft aluminum with hard black anodizing"
I do not believe it has a steel option. But the bullet button is a solid part. It has nothing to do with the guns function and I dont see it breaking from it being aluminum instead of steel. Its a great button and does the job just as good as any other button available.

@bigCnel Yup, Its as simple as putting in a regular mag release. Actually was a little easier for me.
