Sex Education In America

The news that the 17-year-old unmarried daughter of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is pregnant has brought the issues of teen sex and sex education into the media spotlight. For the first time in 15 years, the teen birth rate in America is on the rise. As Brian Padden reports, the issues of sexual activity by teens and how information about sex is conveyed to them in school are highly controversial.

Americans are getting so stupid. I have known about sex since I remember life, and I haven't been affected badly. Teach about sex and teach about the consequences that can be associated, but don't just say "DON'T DO IT!!!!".

We are animals, so we do have a strong sex drive. Anyone who denies this is an ignorant fool, and America is getting there.

It won't happen. Too many parents disagree on what should be taught and are afraid they'll teach the kids the wrong thing. So they just teach nothing and hope that works. Every kid for himself these days. Good luck out there.
