@sdingle100 The bible says that God was and it was always God. So to answer your question God and his whole being (energy, body, soul) has always been. The bible clearly says this. The universe never has made a claim to always exist which is why for centuries people thought it always did exist. The big bang theory changed science as well as Hubbles Law that stated there was a start to the universe as it is expanding.

@zenguyh On that creating new life, the lead scientist admits "They did not create life from scratch". What they did was take bacteria and inserted man made DNA to create a new artificial life form. No different than the process they use for cloning, just using aritificial DNA.

atheists and religious people are both hypocrits since they both CANT 100% explain the beginning of life and what happens after death. Atheists say they dont believe in faith yet they have faith that nothing will happen after they die and cant prove that god doesnt exist. A religious group will say their religion is right but yet there are lots of other religions out there that give the same messages but teaches in a different way depending on their interpretation of what the bible says.
