I bought my scissors at my local beauty supply store , just make sure to get ones that are made for hair cutting!

*In the past it was very hard for me to grow out my hair as long as it is now. Because for some reason the hairdressers would always literally cut way too much off, it's almost like they don't know the difference between 1 inch and 7 inches. To them it's almost as if they mean the same. Which got me quite annoyed.

I've been to countless hair salons in my life, I was never happy with any of the results. And they would never understand exactly the type of hair cut I WANT! And in the end I was left angry by the fact that I had to pay so much for results that were horrible and even a tip on top of that? Like come on??!!!.. So this is why , I was so determined to figure out a way how to cut my hair all on my own the exact way and style that I want. And now , I'm sharing this with all of you who are sick and tired of hairdressers always giving you a bad haircut.

@5Rseas just tell the hairdresser where to start the layers. If you don't want them long then start them at you chin or lower, depending on how long your hair is and how many layers that would allow. Also, if you don't want bangs, don't mention them, Or just make sure to tell the hairdresser that you don't want them. As far as wavy hair goes, I think it would be fine if you keep it hydrated and take care of your hair. If you're a wash and go kind of person, I would go for a blunt cut.

PLEASE!!! Somebady helpe me! What if I want this haircut WITHOUT the bangs, I'm cutting my hair tomorrow and I have to decide what haircut Im gonna get. My forhead is really small and it look terrible with bangs! But I really like this haircut also my hair is wavy and its really weak so I ca straighten it often, would it still look good?

I just wanted to say that I've watched this video like 10x and finally gathered the courage to try it myself and it really worked great!!!
