  • I have seen some modern furniture with dovetail joinery but, you have to pay through the teeth to get this stuff & the precission of the dovetail is exact due to it being machine manufactured. As far as older, drawered type furniture, I usually wouldn't even look at an item that did not have dovetail joints.
