This is the song "building" from the forth coming album "memory and humanity" by funeral for a friend, The verse is pretty quiet but the chorus is louder lol awkward audio xD

This track was played exclusively on the "BBC switch 5:19 show"

This is an acoustic version of the song, although the song sounds prtty acoustic like any way...

***ffaf fans!if you have any time check out my friend paty's Funeral For A Friend Fan site its awesome! http://www.funeralforafriend.com.br/

  • to fast Oo

    but beautiful <3

  • doesnt compare to memory and humanity :P

  • I'd also reccomend Your Revolution Is A Joke. Sonny is beautiful, and very bleak too.

  • I can remember listening to this song on the way to my friends funeral so its quiet a sad song for me

  • hmmmm

i'd agree with the diary and out of reach but i dont believe it was a strong album for them at all

granted it was great coz i mean its FFAF haha

but not by their amazing standards

and i think you should really give sonny a good listen coz its a beautiful song

    :)

  • I have to say that Tales is a GREAT album with songs like The DIary, All handos on deck 1+2, Out of Reach, Into Oblivion etc.

Sweetest wave is actually now one of my favourite songs on the album. But my opinion still stands for Sonny and Constant Ressurections

  • i'd have to disagree

i think ffaf always finish their albums brilliantly

granted constant resurections was weaker than the rest of memory and humanity

but the sweetest wave was one of the few decent songs on tales

    and sonny ends hours perfectly

although i would agree that alvarez is better

  • Ahh.

Yeah, I totally get what you mean now, and I have to say I agree with you.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

  • I'm saying they aren't ever as good as the rest of the album. Sonny was good, but not even close to songs like End Of Nothing, Alverez, Roses, Streetcar .....

The Sweetest wave is also good, but again doesn't compare to All Hands on Deck, Out Of Reach, Obilivion, Walk Away or the diary.

Constant Resurections is ok - but not even close to Constant Illuminations, Can't se the forest, Mouchette, Burning Tree.

    Do see my point?

  • I'm sorry, but your comment is confusing me.

Are you saying that the last track on FFAF albums are always bad, excluding Novella?
