The Garifuna People - aka "Black Caribs" - can be found in different spots in the Caribbean. They are thought to be descendants of African slaves that were being transported in the 1600's and escaped via shipwreck. They have their own language, culture and society. The sound in the video that is similar to a car horn is actually one of the musicians blowing a conch shell. More can be learned about them at www.Garifuna.com
