I just bought a variety 3pack from the local Walmart. They liked them all!

I just takes a bit of patience and they'll start showing up.

Kinglimbless, that's cute. Some talent you got there, really.

What you wrote came off as ignorant. Something tells me in the plan of the ongoing balance of nature, woodpeckers and trees and bugs were all intended, wood siding houses weren't. If he comes and slams a hole in your house, it's' nature's intention, and your bad, not his.

If your little bubble of a world is so small that anything that might peck at your house is a monster, open your eyes a wee bit :)

  • @kingoflimbs1 You really need to lighten up kinglimbless. I didn't say I was going hurt the thing. What's with the personal attack? I won't sink to your level and reply in kind.

  • @Terrathrax

You could always just go crawl under a rock then, and let him keep on keepin' on where he has for thousands of years, you ass.

  • I don't think I'd like that monster near my wood siding house!

  • Loved this video. Thanx for posting. :-))

  • These woodpeckers are so funny to watch, we have a couple around our house in KY. Fist time I saw one I went and told my dad I just saw a woodpecker as big as a chicken he laughed and said Boy your hallucination about that time one flew past the porch where we were sitting and I said well look there goes my hallucination now.

  • These things always attack our transformer up here in Wisconsin. They like to peck on trees right outside my window around 8am in the early morning during the summer.

  • They also love peanut butter!

  • @karenpato1 I have this spirally metal ring that holds raw peanuts, the birds love it/.

  • I can't believe how big they are.... The downy and red belly are the size of the suet cage... Birds are so diverse and strange!
