  • @Ox1ze even without proper polar alignment, quickly centered stars for the startup and i got about 4 mins.

    when you take the time to setup properly. its very good. havent had trails in full throttle :)

    the gears are very well made. they dont jump or anything, i believe they are coded or osmething.

  • How long can you unguided exposure without getting startrails with this mount? 1 a 2 min?

  • CG-5 mount? Nice, those are about $500 USD right? Also, nice resolution you're getting, what is the focal ration on your scope (I'm assuming it's a SCT).

    Very nice pictures though. I am getting a new Orion 100mm APO refractor soon, focal ratio of f/9.

    My father is getting a camera that happens to work great for astrophotography, so I hope to post some pictures soon.

    Your moon photos were very impressive. Keep up the good work!
