Un Coeur en Hiver/ A Heart in Winter -- Argument Clip

Daniel Auteuil (12-time César Award nominee for Best Actor), Emmanuelle Béart and Andre Dussolier star in this sublimely sensual, provocative and critically-acclaimed film. Camille (Béart), a concert violinist, becomes intrigued by her lover's business partner, Stephane, an aloof repairer of fine musical instruments. She interprets his distance as a sign of intellectual seduction, but Stephane is a social voyeur, incapable of emotional intimacy. The love triangle that develops reveals the complexity and imperfection of the three characters and their odd ménage-à-trois relationship.

The ambiguity of this film is exquisite, even years after viewing. Stephane is like a mirror; some people find themselves or loved ones in him. This is an interpretation I've only recently considered, but does anyone see him as living with Asperger's Syndrome?

She plays the part of the hurt woman perfectly...with an anger and viciousness that defies her normal restraint and beauty, the scene is filmed absolutely perfectly! I have found there are people who understand this film, and if they do it never leaves their consciousness, and those who simply don't get it all....for those I feel sad.

Ce film comme l'un des plus grands jamais réalisés. Un Coeur est une chanson magnifique et digne de cygne pour Sautet. Lorsque Mme Beart répète Ravel avec son quartet et regarde M. Auteuil Her Down comme seul un homme de la France peut faire, c'est une combinaison capiteux de la luxure, la réticence, et la sobriété de cette scène prend des «psychodrame» à un nouveau niveau.

Ha ha ha ... I really liked this movie, very good! Well done by Stephane and Camille! Especially her (Camille) is very low here because as she got a chill from a heart in winter!

This part of the film is very interesting, indeed the most interesting! Here, you'll know who has a heart in winter!

The actress is very beautiful in this film, but not so often!
