Then people stop saying the US was defeated. There is a difference between losing a war and not having the ability to win under the given circumstances. Last I checked, there was an agreement on both sides of the table at the UN conference.

What is very important to remember that while this museum in Saigon is a fairly accurate portrayal of the Vietnam war, the museum is biased to the extreme. It fails to show that the war crimes committed during that war were performed by the north Vietnamese as well. It's display is very one-sided.

It's single minded people like you that keep this mentality alive, and not look at the overall spectrum.

1. The US did not win politically, hence the withdrawl and peace agreement with North Vietnam, which was too kind to go against all those agreements only a few years later by invading a beautiful country that just wanted to exist outside of Communism.

1. US lost politically, not militarily.

2. US stomped NVA/VC in every major military engagement.

3. North Vietnam even changed their strategy to avoid such defeats, such as only attack when they are sure to overwhelm US forces, and to not engage larger units.

4. Not to mention using Neutral lands to conduct their operations.

5. Then again, in war there are no rules right? No Geneva Conventions, nothing like that in fighting an enemy that has no reguard for those types of rules.

None of the paint jobs looks authentic. I don't recall the US putting high-gloss finishes on any war equipment. The actual paint jobs were dull and drab to blend with the environment.
