Oh man that sucks. Full roller should be really bad ass but man that sounds expensive. I probably would've restarted with a 5.0 engine. Are you going to install the Thumper cam again? I believe there is a roller version of the thumper you have in this video. Good luck with the build can't wait to see new vids.

Ahhhh the Super 44's nice. Yea when I said flows in my earlier post I was talking about the American Thunders haha. Beautiful car and sound. Hell, with a lope like that I wouldn't mind running 3" dumped. But I definitely have a request....Please do another video of a cold start and then outside of the garage just idling at operating temperature. I would watch everyday hahaha. I already have this video bookmarked. Thanks.
Yeah, but I have a true HiPo 289 and wanted to keep it. I now have $6,800 tied up in the two builds. It will have the Thumper roller!! I will eventually build a 427 Windsor but that's down the road a few years. I still think it's cool to have the 289.

The sad thing is the motor in the video had some internal issues. I am actually having it rebuilt again right now. Hopefully I will get it back in a couple weeks. I bit the bullet and installed a roller cam setup. Should be pretty badass!!! I will most definitely post some new videos with the new build!!!!

Ha!! Thanks brotha... The sad thing about the video is the motor which only had about 2300 miles on it had some internal issues when this video was shot. It currently is being rebuilt now. I put a full roller cam in her. In couple weeks I will fire the new build. And don't worry I will get you some new videos!!!! Should be pretty badass!!! Thanks...os

I forgot to tell you it does have an "H" pipe.

A call to Comp cams would be a good idea. I would think it would have no issues with a stock build. The valve springs might need to be replaced though. Call them. And the exhaust is ceramic longtube headers w/ 3" collector, 4 foot of 2.5" mid-pipe, into Flowmaster Super 44's dumped.

It's a "Thumper", The Mutha Thumper and Big Mutha Thumper are designed for larger cubed engines.
