Racketeering, conspiracy, insider trading, mail and wire fraud and false tax return preparation ..well unless you had all those and many more similar listed on your resume you won't stand a hope of getting any sort of a job on Wall St....

Two years in jail and a shit load of money stock-piled awaiting his release. The money was perhaps not held in accounts in his name, but in other people's names.
His custom built "winter" home in Incline Village, NV was quite spectacular for its time, and commissioned shortly after his release. It is speculated that Steve Wynn (who also owns a home two doors down from Milken's) paid for its construction with profits from previous Milken/Wynn deals, as another way to conceal money. Amazing!
