ahahah, so I've been playing a tremolo harmonica for the whole time and trying to play some blues tune which is really hard to do with that. closing the bottom hole with my lip and concentrating the blow through one single hole and trying to bend.

where can i get a chap diatonic harmonica from coz i have tthe black parrot 32 hole key c harmonica but i dont really like it so if anyone could answer my question i would be most greatful thnx

Actually today I just got a 32-hole harmonica before even knowing what it was. I didn't know a single thing about harmonicas, but I got one and was like WTF? I really liked it, so I was determined to learn. I've been searching on internet like a maniac for a couple hours and just ran into this. I think it has been extremely helpful, more than the stuff I've found :) At least for starting. Thanks for making this!

Dan, I have a weird harp, a Chinese cheapo called a Parrot. It's a 40 hole tremolo my mother gave me many years ago when I wanted to learn harmonica but then did nothing with it. I dug it out last year, just after I'd started playing for real, and realised what a clunker it is. It sounds terrible, some of the reeds are dead, and the comb tastes weird. Looks nice though!
