Pissed off raccoon

I have a 5 lb yorkie and I didn't want her to get into it with a raccoon. I caught this one using wet cat food, but I have also caught them using hot dogs. Don't worry, I let it go a few miles away in a non-populated area.

For all who think it's cool to harass and torture animals, go HOOP your foreheads! Animals have just as much right as we do! We go grocery shopping they hunt, open your fuckin eyes! you're crazy, they are far from beautiful. They are smart though. and traps are way cheaper than a sensor for your cat that will most likely not keep them away. trapping is an important part of conservation. It keeps disease and overpopulation down

I just have to snicker at the ignorant comments about these beautiful, intelligent animals. They're much smarter than most humans....that's why you knuckle dragging neanderthals have to use a gun to kill them when they keep outsmarting you......lol And uhm, if they're coming in your cat door you should get a sensor and put a collar on your cat so the door will only open for it, but then, THAT would signify that you had an ounce of intelligence in you.

Ratcoons are highly destructive, especially when they nest in an attic or crawlspace, and they are known to attack humans and their pets. I have no problem with shooting these pests.
