Great version. Burt has written more hits than anyone ever. Like all the best music his output is timeless and will be covered endlessly because it is simply so damn good. Beyond words. He is a national treasure.

Yes and they are real people. My dad moved from Detroit back in the 60;s to Cali, and fast forward I went to a benefit for Aids back in the day, and I was standing outside talking to the security for the Isleys, when their limo pulled up, mr. Big got out and asked me how my family was in Detorit. Now I'd never met him before but i look exactly like my Late Aunt, my Uncles sister, and he and his brothers had me come in and sit backstage an enjoy the show. He's not a stuck up person as many today!

I'm 55, from Detroit, but never knew this. I always thought the Isley Bros. were from Cincinatti.

cont, The Isleys were performing, and they brought me up on stage, and to their room after the Concert, where the Entertainers were, because, he knew I was a'' ( last name)'' he asked how my family was, did they still live on '' such in such street in Detroit! ( It blew me away) But no, no claim to fame, just mentioned it because many of the Motown folks that came from the ""D'' were and are down to earth real folks unlike many of today's artists~

Sorry, no claim to fame, just facts, and if you knew Detroit, and were older, you'd know or have relatives who knew these people and went to school with them, they ate at each others mama's houses, like anyone else! We went to see the Dramatics, and from the stage, and Ron Banks called my Aunt up because he knew her. Also, when I was at a special charity to Benefit Aids, cont,

That's a good "claim to fame" to say that the Isley's are from your hometown. Always loved their music as a group but had never heard this side of that talent. Excellent to say the least. I have this on my mp3 player. Take care my friend.

Yes Jasper Isley and Ron were the founders! They're from my Hometown and grew up around the corner from my Great Uncle, in Detroit!

I have always liked the Isley Brothers. They have always been a special part of my past. I knew Ronald had an incredable voice. But WOW, He really nailed this one. He sounds like Burt wrote this song for him. Just simply beautiful!!
