Sounds of ALMS and IRL at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course

Some very cool footage of the sights and sounds of the ALMS and IRL Race weekend at Mid Ohio. Footage includes vehicles from the SCCA Speed World Challenge, American Lemans GT1, GT2, LMP2 and LMP1 classes, and some IndyCar footage.

This is simply intended to show the wide variety of cars on track during this awesome weekend of racing. Footage was shot in "Thunder Valley" between Turns 11 and 12 of the 2.25 mile course.

I think I prefer the sound of the IRL cars pre-Acura headers and exhaust.

@abcxyzfra yea, you're right about them sounding bad, even the old lmp1 R8 sounded bad before audi started using diesel engines. their road cars sound ok though, its just their purpose built race cars because their new R8 V10 sounds amazing with its engine based off the Lamborghini Gallardo.

One of the best and most difficult tracks say most of the drivers. i have been going to that track since i was able to walk. i love that track!!!!

The Twin Vettes sound like they're eating something as they pound past. R10 is sexy quiet.
