Not sure what you mean about the spectrum, but his guitar tuning isn't the standard EADGBE. I thought it was me at first.

Great Video and lesson! Learned a lot.
But what's up with the B and high E strings? Maybe it's the tuning or just the guitar but the top end of the spectrum isn't quite as full.

Tap your foot slowly and count 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
Now keep tapping and stop counting. . .
On EACH tap count 123 123 123 123
Space evenly so you go 123123123123 with the 1's falling on each foot tap. Each group of 123 is called a triplet. There ya go.
