Painting en plein air ("outside" or "out in the open") introduces the need for a pochade box of sorts. It's a portable easel, supply storage, and wet painting storage. They can run from $300-$500 for a decent one, but I built my own for about $50 from stuff you can buy at any home improvement store. This is my variation on the Serrett pochade box created by Jim Serrett. Thanks for your ideas and videos to everyone else who have made theirs as well, they were very helpful. I'm happy to share my plans if anyone would like them. Visit my site to see my paintings, www.ChristopherClark.com
