Roy Tuscany skis Sugarbush 12.27.08

Roy was severely injured on April 29, 2006 while skiing at Mammouth Mountain, CA. He overshot the landing of a 70 foot jump by 21 feet, breaking his back and paralyzing him from the waist down. Roy was life flighted to Reno, NV and underwent emergency surgery.

Roy's had several surgeries and setbacks, but through it all has maintained an incredibly positive attitude.

After 2 1/2 years of rehab Roy made it back to his home mountain Sugarbush VT, where this footage was shot on 12.27.08 on a rainy, crappy day that most people wouldn't even go outside on.

The smile on Roy's face would make you think it was a sick powder day!
