  • For the past 2 years I have been running a GT2871R

  • I got mine from Trust Japan but I think they stopped producing this turbo kit. In any case, it was designed for the right hand drive JDM Atenza and not the LHD version in USA. I have a transmission cooler and a larger engine cooler also. E-Manage could only yield so much HP as we has a problem retarding the ignition further with that set up. Now I'm using Unichip and it is making much better power.

  • Yes, the car is 100% JDM. Originally I had the Trust (G-Reddy) turbo kit which was bought directly from Trust in Japan. They had the complete kit including the E-Manage Ultimate in one package. However, the G-Reddy turbo blew so now I have a GT2871RS and change from the cast G-Reddy extractor to a stainless steel one from Protoge Garage. All other parts, pipes and intercooler are still the original G-Reddy kit.

  • That's the only difference between the two (yours and brothers). Yours is a inline 4. His is the v6.

  • I read on the forums you got the JDM engine but what turbo kit did you get? Is the whole car JDM?
