what a childhood memory i just stepped out of tonight! i havent seen gunsmoke since i was a kid, now im 52 and was up till 3am watching this, i want to step back into my childhood and watch more gunsmoke, grabbing my blanket,cuddling up in the chair, getting my glass of kool~aid, and thinking "when i grow up, i wunt to be just like Mat Dillian" ok im too old to be a kid,but i did retire AFTER 35YRS as a federal marshal! the 1.5hours was a nice feeling [[peace&GodBless PerryNormal]]

Miriam Colon really made this episode one of my favorites. If you want to see a Gunsmoke episode that will tear your heart out, watch Zavala. Miriam is so good in that one too.

Love James Arness and Ricardo Montalban. But Ricardo was a bad guy and sooo.... Plus the show was Gunsmoke and our is hero Marshal Matt Dillon. Miss you Senor Ricardo Montalban.

Damn Matt was a hero until this episode, now he's like the other federal agents using dirty tactics like kidnapping a mans wife.

@ccrich100 Chato won, in his own way. He kept a certain dignity, all the way through, and when he could have blown Marshal Dillon's head off, he chose not to, and simply told him to go home.
