The only Republican I would support is Ron Paul, and would choose him over any Democrat. If republicans choose to shut him out then it's their loss. Independents can see through the hypocrisy of a a Republican party that is only concerned about the deficit when Obama is in charge, but couldn't care less about deficit spending and undeclared wars under Bush. Whereas when Ron Paul critisises Obama he speaks with credibility and substance that even progressives respect.
