So, Question;
Do you think that F4 would be low enough to shoot these kinds of events? Being it's overcast and pretty dark at times, or in my experience anyway. I haven't shot strictly at F4 and may be buying a new lens so yeah. What do you, or anyone else here on YT think? Would greatly appreciate any advice. I don't wanna have to spend an extra $1000 on a 2.8 IS if I don't have to.

@0555182221, it is AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4G ED VR, the last model. For skiing is good because it's not so heavy like 400 2.8 and it's long enought on FF camera.
