In a corset, jumping around and crouching on scenery and that voice continues to be flawless and so powerful, just amazing. What a truly amazing performer she is :)

@TaoKiomi but it is true, the fact is this musical was to realistic for a lot of people and they couldn't find it in themselves to think outside their usual comfort zones and accept it, although personally it's one of my favs. I'm not saying it was perfect but I do wish it would come back though and maybe people would learn to appreciate it.

@TaoKiomi wow the fact that you would say that about SJB is shocking!!! she's actually one of Broadway's MOST passionate performers without going over the top. The whole point of this song is that Grania wants for more I'm pretty sure most people don't just sit around when expressing their hearts biggest desires!!!

She throws herself around without feeling or passion. She's kind of going through the passes actually. I'm not surprised this didn't hold on Broadway. Given the feminist theme as well, though I admire and agree with it whole heartedly, I'm not surprised the American public didn't take to it. It sort of smacks you in the face. There's no subtle meaning or deep thinking required; it's a little too face value. It had the potential to be a great work though, and that's what frustrates me.
