  • Poodles are VERY trainable, but not if the poodle's seizable brain is bigger than yours... If you actually had control of the dog, the squirrel wouldn't be an issue. Please stop blaming the squirrel. Also, you don't need treats to get a dog to recognize its name... usually they learn that pretty quick.

  • literally i was laughing you didnt teach her anything!

  • my dog ready knows her name

  • Now I am remembering the Simpsons:

There is an episode, Bart has to teach his dog. In one occasion he says: "go away, smell the backside of the other dog!" (I saw it in German, so I don't know what he really said in English)

  • poodles doesnt need to be lively, my block standard poodle can sleep all day, and i can get her attention. (She get plenty of excercise every day from being with horses)

  • thanks it works!!!!!!!

  • "and they squirrel took off!"

  • that's a very pretty dog

  • Its very weak and vain to train the dog to do something just to get a little treat. I can't stand it when I see someone doing this.

You can train dogs without giving them a "treat" for every little thing they do. Did you know that? They're not just eating machines you program.

They're loving creatures who desire to please and love your acknowledgment that you love them back.

  • thats good

  • Sorry to say this but Expert village..you have to give some proof that it works.
