  • Just wanted to say thanks for this video my Doxie after 13 years her hind legs went out and i was able to use this video to make one for her. She is now using it and able to use the restroom on her own. She is getting strength in her back legs now. I think its too soon to let her try to walk right now but this cart is helping her get her strength back. Thank you from Sissy Doodle.....:)

  • @austintxut I'm glad the video helped you. Good luck with your dog and thank you for letting me know... Ron

  • Hello Ronbob59 will this work for a dog who is not paralyzed. Our dog just has arthritis and sometimes falls down. Can this dog wheelchair be adjusted for a dog who can still walk? I would appreciate your opinion, insights, and suggestions. Thanks.

  • @elcastro68 Your dog would need to have strong front legs for this cart to work. It is designed for dogs who have no use of their back legs...

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you. You are an angel for my sweet baby Angus who has lost capability in his rear legs. I will post a video of him when his wheelchair is complete and cite you. Thank you so much and you are welcome to watch his videos if you're curious at all!!!

  • @doubtingthomas6042 Thanks for the nice compliments. Be sure to watch the follow-up vid called, "Teddy's Cart Questions" . It explains the strap attachment. good luck and call me if you have any questions... 832-646-5931

  • Thank you so much. My friends dog has a disc problem and is paralyzed. She just brought him home today and needs to have one built. Im going to pass this on to her

  • Thank you so much! I also have a Teddy dog who needs a wheelchair. She is my 18 year old chow mix, her hip just finally went out this year when the cold weather hit. I will adjust the cart a big to make up for her larger size, but it shouldn't be a problem. I have been telling her she is old enough to drive, so this year she will finally get her own set of wheels :-)

  • We have an 11 year old German Shepherd who has lost the use of his back legs and wonder if the cart you have designed for Teddy would be suitable for him. Do you think the piping you used would be strong enough - have you heard of other german shepherds using your design?

  • Hi, what type of wheel do you get?

  • @poli999988 So glad you made the cart and your dog is using it. Teddy is still not walking, but it doesn't matter to us anymore. He gets around just fine in his chair. It will be three years next month. Thanks for letting me know... Ron

  • Thank you!!! So,so much for your dog Teddy's video...We have a 5 years old cocker spaniel (Pricesse Patou) who lost the use of her rear legs do to a ruptured disk like your dog.
