Location:
This simple hotel is located in Compton Place, close to London's City district. Given the excellent tube connections, it is very easy to reach the most popular tourist attractions, as well as the numerous shopping centres and other entertainment venues.

Facilities:
This hotel is designed in a youth hostel style, which is open to guests over the age of 18. It is simply equipped and yet still manages to offer guests a number of amenities. The hotel has lift access and a 24-hour reception, a newspaper stand, a small supermarket, a bar, a pub, a nightclub and an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. There is a conference room and Internet connection available for those travelling on business. In their free time, guests may make use of the TV room and the games room. There is a shop on-site selling theatre tickets, travel passes, tourist information and most travel essentials.

Rooms:
The functional rooms are all basic with bunk beds and a wash basin. None of the rooms are en suite; communal showers and toilets are available on every floor. The rooms include pillows and bed linen. Towels are not included, but can be purchased for a small fee at the in-house travel shop.

Sports/Entertainment:
The bar is open until late each night and has a team that run nightly events ranging from quizzes to karaoke. Cheap drinks and lots of fun are guaranteed. Films are also shown every day in the chill-out lounge (subject to charge).

Meals:
Continental breakfast is available in the morning and evening meals are available from pizzas and burgers to the traditional fish and chips.

Payment:
All major credit cards are accepted except for American Express and Diners Club.

Misc.:
Guests should remember to bring a towel, as well as a photo ID for check in. A padlock is recommended for the dorm rooms (over 18's only). Open 24 hours with no curfew. A free luggage room is available upon check in and out.

How to get there:
From Heathrow, take the Piccadilly Line tube direct to Russell Square (50 minutes). From Gatwick and Luton airports, take the train direct to Kings Cross St Pancras. From Stansted, take the train direct to Liverpool Street Station then change for the tube to Kings Cross. Walking from Russell Square tube station: take Marchmont Street and turn right at the traffic lights onto Tavistock Place. The hostel is number 37 (5-minute walk). From Kings Cross, take the Euston Road exit and turn onto Judd street (O'Neils Irish pub on the corner), at the bottom turn right onto Tavistock Place.
